Kevjumba:
"In the future stick with the Aveeno Oatmeal Bath and Blue Star Ointment. It works wonders for itchy dry skin, rashes, bug bites, and etc..."
* Original Aveeno Bath:
Best luke warm water.
* Blue Star Ointment:
Numbs the itch.
"In case those ideas don't work."
* Plain Apple Cider Vinegar:
Mild Rash 1/2 cup Bad Rash 1 cup
* Plain Quaker Oatmeal: (substitute for Aveeno)
Mild Rash 1 cup Bad Rash 2 cups
* Colgate's Octagon 'All Purpose' Soap:
Rinse in cold water. Apply to skin (don't wash it off). Allow to dry!
* Aloe Vera Gel:
Refrigerate! Apply onto paper towel or toilet paper (if by chance you ran out of paper towels). Apply on itch.
Disclaimers: "I am NOT a doctor. I've learned what I know from my Mom (retired nurse), Aunts (some retired, some still working nurses), and my elderly neighbor (whom I've come to see as a 3rd Grandfather)."
"Please if you have serious medical problems contact your local Physician."
Helpful hints: (If you get nervous like I do this really helps out a lot.)
1. Write a list of questions you may have for your Physician. 2. Keep a list of all you're allergies, past medical problems, as well as symptoms you're having. This will help your doctor visit go well. Author: RuaGreenwood
