Q:my dog has allergies she is a 3 yr old lab pit mix my doctor gave her some medication but took her off because she did not want her on the medication that long i give her benedryl every once in a while but i m afraid it might hurt her if i give it to her all the time also she seems to feel warm or even hot every once in a while is it safe to give her some kind of aspirin like baby aspirin or tylenol? thank you A:when used at a recommended dose of 1mg per lb every 8 to 12 hours benadryl is a safe medication to use when treating allergies you can also give your dog aspirin at a dose
