She had something similar & vet said allergies. 4 teeth were abcessed (13 old dog & a rescue)& removed &her 'allergies' sounded like this. Vet said she had kennel cough. Meds given have not worked & it's been 2 weeks!! I give her .5ml of children's cough syrup & she can at least sleep (& i can too), but other times she's doing this so much, she can't even stop to breath! Someone save another expensive trip to the vet!!!
