DSH, Tabby (Female/Senior) - I'm a sweet, outgoing, and talkative gal named Tia. My name is short for Tortilla - not because I'm a burrito-eating bandit, but because I originally was adopted in the state of New Mexico. That was a few years back, I must admit, because I'm now - well, let's just say this gal's in double digits. My family came to FOHA to help find a new home for me and my adoptive sister Daisy because our human sibling developed terrible allergies that made her very ill. Goodness gracious, she could barely breathe! Daisy and I were shocked to discover that she was allergic to us! I so loved living with my family and was so accepting of all the attention of the little people who came to join our family over time. They like to shower kitties with attention, but they're not always the most gentle sorts. But I tolerated all their pokes and pets, never getting frustrated or asking them to leave me alone. I'm a friendly and talkative gal, and while I'm obviously a tabby cat, I have a few traits that might remind someone of a canine more than a cat - I am known to come when called. When I was younger, I liked to play with toys and would even play fetch. Now I'm more interested in relaxing than playing. I'd love to relax (and maybe even play) the day away with you.
