Suzanne Teuber, M.D., Associate Professor, UC Davis School of Medicine provides an overview of the main issues in food processing as it relates to food allergy. Dr. Teuber describes some of the issues that physicians deal with, as well as the need for consumer awareness. This presentation was part of a UC Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources Food Safety Workgroup, to identify areas in which the safety of California foods can be enhanced through university research and outreach.
